RENEW Theology on Tap happens all over the country featuring great speakers, great conversation, and great food and drink.
When RENEW Theology on Tap came to town at Baja Mexicana in Jersey City, NJ, the question of the night was, "Are you living the fulfilling life you want?" That’s a tough question, but Sr. Pat Wormann, OP, encouraged those in attendance that taking time out of her busy life to reflect on this question was one of the most fruitful and important moves she’s ever made in her life. Though, she admits, that a “restlessness” may remain, we must always struggle to become who we truly are and were meant to be, and Jesus can help...a timely and important message for many people in their 20s and 30s.

The event at Baja Mexicana was part of one of five speaker series that took place during January’s Young Adult Month throughout the Archdiocese of Newark. Sr. Loretta DeDomenicis, Director of Young Adult Ministry for the Archdiocese, attributes the success of Newark’s blossoming young adult ministry to those who have worked to organize Theology on Tap. This ministry has served as a starting point for many others to enter into a new and different relationship with the Catholic faith.
